Chronic stress is known to negatively affect the body. It could trigger the development of\u00a0inflammation and cardiometabolic disease.<\/p>\n

Stress can also contribute to the development of cancer. Previous studies showed that it\u00a0can speed up the progression and worsen outcomes of the disease.<\/p>\n

But can stress be the main cause of cancer? The National Cancer Institute reported that there is currently a small number of studies proving the direct link between the disease and stress.<\/p>\n
