{"id":16687,"date":"2015-10-13T21:38:29","date_gmt":"2015-10-13T20:38:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/opa.org.uk\/?p=16687"},"modified":"2021-01-28T21:41:27","modified_gmt":"2021-01-28T21:41:27","slug":"results-of-the-psp-survey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/opa-old.voidappsdev.uk\/?p=16687","title":{"rendered":"Results of the PSP Survey"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Anaesthesia and Perioperative Care Priority Setting Partnership (PSP) is an initiative commissioned by the NIAA to identify important topics for future research and help direct the future research agenda.<\/p>\n<h3>Why was this PSP needed?<\/h3>\n<p>The rationale behind the PSP was simple: research budgets are finite, and research funders need to demonstrate the impact of their research. This entails not only producing academic publications, but also choosing topics for research funding that are important and relevant to clinicians and patients.
